Lynette Thomas, LVN

Practice Lead

Lynette loved playing nurse with her sisters as a child, and she loves being a nurse now that she’s an adult. She is dedicated to motivating people to achieve better health and works hard to earn each patient’s trust.

She has experience in various settings including family practice and mental health, and in roles such as a certified clinical hemodialysis tech and as a pharmacy tech.

Originally from Bishop, Texas, Lynette is the fifth of seven girls. She is very family-oriented and loves her English Bulldog, Deuce. For fun she likes crafting, watching Netflix, and being a team mom for her son’s sports.

Dimitra Dunlap

Dimitra Dunlap, NP-C

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Dimitra aims to see the success and growth of members through chronic disease management, health prevention, and education. She helps members make healthier lifestyle choices, and assures that they have an understanding of their illnesses and treatment plans. She has an enthusiasm for everyone, and lives by the saying “good health is closer than you imagine.”

Dimitra has more than 20 years of nursing experience. A graduate of Boise State University, Dimitra earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing and is board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.

Originally from Louisiana, Dimitra enjoys volunteering, engaging in community activities, doing arts and crafts, and attending outdoor festivals and events. She enjoys the outdoors and listening to music. “Life is like a disco: no matter how much the music changes, you just keep dancing.”

Deborah Guerra

Deborah Guerra, MSN, APN, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

Deborah believes quality healthcare and long-term goals are derived by providing the resources necessary to reach and accomplish success. She shares the mission of Crossover, striving to improve optimal health and wellness in members by providing such resources. She believes care should be specific and individualized for each member.

Bringing more than 15 years of nursing experience to Crossover Health and Frost Wellness Center, Deborah has been a certified Nurse Practitioner for over a decade. She has worked in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Pain Management, Immigration, and Infusion Therapy, and understands the uniqueness and diversity of all cultures within the healthcare setting.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Deborah is the fourth of seven children. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.

I am competitive in nature and strive to be the best at everything I set my mind to. I have run many races and cycled many miles, sometimes traveling internationally to compete. I have accomplished many things, but the one of which I am most proud was being selected to represent the United States in the North American Powerlifting Federation Bench Press Championship competition in Costa Rica at age 54.

Why do I practice healthcare:
I practice healthcare to make a difference in the lives of others. It warms my heart when clients call to say, “thank you for saving my life,” “thank you for listening,” or “thank you for believing in me!”

Veronica Cook

Veronica Cook, LPN

LVN/LPN Nurse

Veronica loves learning about people and getting to hear everyone’s unique story. She has been a nurse since 2016, and has enjoyed working as a traveling nurse around the country and in the Florida jail system for four years.

Born and raised in Oregon for the first half of her childhood, Veronica moved to Florida when she was eight years old. Before moving to Texas, she also lived in Hawaii. She loves markets, exploring new places, trying out her gardening skills, and loving on her nieces and nephews. This year, most of her free time has been taken up caring for her friend who needs a heart transplant.

I was homeschooled my whole life (surprise!). Yes I had friends and yes, “you never would have guessed!”

They deliver an exceptional experience from start to finish by greeting members, scheduling appointments, answering questions, alleviating concerns, and addressing special requests.
